NEW COVID-19 GUIDELINES
Our Commitment: We will provide you with a safe environment that complies with guidelines issued by Government and our local authority.
- Following the new government rules from 24/9/20 we will be restricted to providing table service only, except for takeaways.
- Customers must wear masks when not seated at their table to eat or drink.
- Groups are limited to 6 persons; other groups are not allowed to mingle.
- We are legally required to take customers contact details via test and trace/ QR codes. Which are provided on the premises on arrival.
- We cannot have any member of the public on the premises after 10pm.
- Customers who fail to comply with the new laws will be fined £200 for a first offence, this number will be doubled per offence.
- You will be refused entry if you do not comply with the new rules.
OUR RESTAURANT
- We have undertaken a thorough review of our restaurant, bar, outside areas and carried out an extensive assessment of the risks caused by COVID-19.
- If you have any of the following please do not enter as you will be risking your own, customers and our team’s health and wellbeing.
- A high temperature
- A new, continuous cough
- A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
- If you are a medically high-risk candidate for any reason
- Every surface will be cleaned regularly and wiped with the appropriate disinfectants before each new customer is sitting at the tables
- Our toilets are cleaned frequently by male and female members of staff. Customers can also clean before/after use as supplies will be available.
- All items and equipment will be disinfected
- We have rearranged the seating space inside and outside to adhere to social distancing guidelines
- There will be hand sanitiser provided at all entry and exit points so please use it before entering and leaving the building
- We will ensure adequate ventilation throughout the restaurant with doors and windows open where possible
- We have changed our opening hours, limited the number spaces, and booking times to avoid overcrowding. Divided our team as much as possible into shifts whilst ensuring we retain social distancing.
- New entry and exit points have been allocated, This is to minimise crowding as much as possible. Entering the premises through the right door and exiting through the left door when facing the building.
- The New booking policy is a maximum group of 6 people, booking is advised beforehand via telephone (first come first serve) no bookings via email, BOOKINGS MUST BE MADE VIA TELEPHONE ONLY.
- Bookings are only for customers eating, drinks only tables are welcomed on a first come first serve basis.
- All bookings will have a maximum of 2 hours from booking time to dine inside or outside (weather permitting for outside)
- Tables outside will only be allocated on the day whilst available, if there is nowhere to sit indoors because of a change of weather food will be put in takeaway containers so you can eat safely at home
- All customers including drinks only customers must use the NHS record tracking system under new COVID-19 rules. All details of phone numbers and names will be deleted after 21 days. This can be done via the QR system or by filling out the Track and Trace form.
- If you have a fever or 38c or more, please do not enter.
- Customers must always do their best to stay socially distant from other people/tables even whilst queuing for the lavatory
- Customers with disabilities/ wheelchair access must let us know when booking as there are only a limited number of spaces available.
OUR TEAM
- All team members are trained to care for our customers in a safe, hygienic, and professional manner
- We have agreed social distancing for our team
- Staff have been briefed to not come to work if they have a temperature, or are feeling unwell or if any person in their household is unwell or is self-isolating
- All staff will wear face coverings/masks.
OUR SERVICES
- We have limited our menu and hours at this time, some items may not be available due to deliveries/supply
- We will do our best to give you great service as usual while maintaining the new social distancing rules and procedures
- Service will be slightly slower as you can understand with all the newer measures in place, please be patient with us
- Items like menus, cutlery, condiments, napkins will all be provided when served by a staff member
CUSTOMER ARRIVAL
- We will be accepting walk-ins, however pre-booking is preferred for the restaurant, to avoid waiting and crowding areas
- We will stagger customer booking times so that there is minimal waiting and crowding
- We will greet you warmly but without a handshake or a hug (as we have missed you)
- Customers must minimise what they bring in as you will be asked to keep all belongings with you to avoid spreading of any germs
- No food or drinks can be brought into the premises by customers including birthday cakes as an extra precaution. The exception being baby food/milk.
- All food and drinks orders are table service only

- Face coverings/masks are always required to be worn by our customers whilst sat at a table.
